In 1942 Winston Churchill visited Bermuda. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! He entered the cockpit of the plane smoking his signature cigar and asked if he could take the pilots seat. There are certain people who don't get told no and Churchill during WWII was one of them. The pilots let him take control and do some slight turns. Before I found this picture and read some more, I didn't know that, as Secretary of State during WWI, Churchill had taken some flying lessons. He was discouraged as he was too valuable tobe perusing such risky pursuits.

I think in today's world we are a little too quick to call someone a great person. Churchill was truly an amazing guy. The stuff he did and the resolve he had to show is hard to image.
